Trying Aardvark!
Blog posted 2009-03-30 13:23:00 - post 28 of 28

So I heard all the buzz about this service Aardvark. Basically you ask a question and gets answers back from other people in the comunity based on what they selected that they are good at. I decided to give it a try. Setting it up and use it is really easy. The interface you have is to chat to a bot, that passes the question you have, on. The first question I have was way to specific so I got a weird reply. I did however get a very nice mail from customer service(!) saying they were sorry the answer I was provided wasn't good. This was a personal mail, which impressed me. (How do I know? They replied back a second time in a way that is NOT autogenerated). The next question I asked was answered, with two answers saying the opposite things. I like the service, but the problem with it is that people are people and you'll get the variable result you could expect from asking random people from all over the world.

Yes I think so too, you just can't expect it to be an oracle like I did.
